What is the last day that PediatricEyeMD will be participating with these insurances?

Can I still get care at PediatricEyeMD if I have Fidelis or MetroPlus?

Absolutely! We’d love to continue caring for your child through our direct-pay division, The Pediatric Eye Center.

Our fees for office visits are (as of April 1, 2026):

  • New Patient: $375
  • Annual/Comprehensive Exam: $200
  • Brief Established Exam: $125

Where else can I use my Fidelis or MetroPlus insurance for pediatric ophthalmology care?

Call ahead to make sure they still accept your insurance and have appointments available.

You can also call insurance company’s member services. We recommend a fellowship-trained pediatric ophthalmologist.

How do I get my child’s medical records sent to a new doctor?

We’re happy to send your child’s medical records to you or another doctor. Just send an authorized request and we’ll take care of it. Please download the request form here, fill it out and email it to info@pemd.org or call us at (718) 468-9800 if you need help.
