Dr. Ryan House
My passion for pediatric ophthalmology began at a young age. Growing up around my mother’s ophthalmology practice in Central Kansas, I often accompanied her on international medical volunteer trips focused on eye care. Inspired by my upbringing, I attended medical school at the University of Kansas before completing my ophthalmology residency at Loma Linda University in California. Following residency, I gained valuable experience at Pediatric Eye MD before pursuing specialized pediatric and strabismus surgical training in a fellowship at Riley Children’s Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. Returning to the practice in 2023, I bring a special interest in pediatric and adult strabismus, pediatric cataracts, and pediatric low vision. Currently, I serve on the boards of public information and pediatric low vision and rehabilitation for the American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus.
