Dr. Eric Lichtenstein
Since completing fellowship in 1999, I have exclusively practiced pediatric ophthalmology. After working as a journeyman at various practices and residencies for 2 years, I founded the first pediatric ophthalmology practice in Queens in 2001. At this practice, our mission is to prevent childhood vision loss and alleviate suffering from pediatric eye disease for as many children as possible. We are proud to provide the children of Queens and Brooklyn with specialized, convenient care that is second-to-none. Beyond this, I served over a decade as a Strabismus surgical instructor for The New York Eye & Ear Infirmary residency; I also served The Infirmary as an Anterior Segment Trauma attending instructor during those years. In 2010, I conceived of and was a founding partner for the first ASC in Queens to offer general anesthesia for pediatric patients.
